Having a slight scrolling issue on the site. This is directly caused by a required page_container div in the header.php, directly under the body tag, and a closing div just above the footer.php
Everything seems to work fine NOW, but that’s only because I have removed this from the header.php body tag:
PHP Code:
class="< ?php k2_body_class(); ?>” < ?php k2_body_id(); ?>
But the site doesn’t look how i want… It SHOULD be a fixed width of 800px. When i leave everything alone, the header scrolls in the fixed width only, and the rest of the header (on the sides) stay where they are.
I have tried everything i know how to do to get around this, including placing the required page_container div in app/classes/header.php (which gives the same results) - but not having much luck. Any insight here?

I had a problem after installing some memory on my MBP — the screen just went dead one day, and the status light on the front lit up permanently.
Through process of elimination, I was able to conclude that the lower memory slot itself is fried, not the memory as originally thought. After a few phone calls to Apple, I was able to get them to agree to repair it, so off it goes for a few days.
I’ll still be in touch through e-mail, and light updates are promised in the meantime.
Thankfully, Apple is very easy to work with when it comes to service.

I am considering making optimizations to this site for mobile browsers as well, particularly the iPhone.
I have gotten the pages to render correctly, but it requires two-finger scrolling on any given page (meaning, use two fingers spaced apart).
I have been messing with some of the Mobile Browser plugins for Wordpress, but I found that those available are “less than amazing” when it comes to page navigation.
When I have some time, I will likely implement a custom version of ContentRobot’s iWPhone.
Obviously mobile browser optimization is not a high priority, but I have noticed a slight influx of people using mobile browsers on this site, and that’s what got me thinking.

My expertise doesn’t extend too far into graphic design, and I am bored with text-logo options. Something to think about.
Got the migration completed as good as it’s going to get for awhile. There are a few more elements that need added to the online shop, but everything is in place and “fully functional”.
Send suggestions my way, if there are any

I’ve got the bulk of the trancepsyndicate.com store moved over to this domain… There are a few lingering issues.
Need to get rid of the shopping cart on every pageNeed to tidy up the grid view of productsNeed to take a napThe Private Event for May was also migrated to this server, same credentials.

I am going to begin moving the online store from Trance Psyndicate to Eo Somnium here very soon. There are many reasons for this, particularly, I do not see the purpose of having an active web store on a retired site.
I like the “drop shop” system that is currently in place, and by hosting it here instead, I can offer other services that are not pertinent to Trance Psyndicate.
Lastly, after a brief bout with strep, I am ready to start working on things full speed again.
Working with DJ HaLØn on a few other projects, we are aiming to have a full podcasting and internet radio station set up here very soon as well.
Stay tuned. Updates aren’t too far away.

I’ve gotten it to compile for Intel OS X! Work continues. I will post the binaries soon.

It’s a win. For sure. Recorded about a week ago, decided to go ahead and post it since I think it really is good. It’s a 4-hour darkpsy mix done while wearing pajamas and drinking lots of coffee. Fantastic!
There are a few “minor” glitches (about 3.5 hours into it) that I didn’t hear during the mixing itself, so I think it might be the encoding I used. I have had a problem with glitchy encodings using iTunes in the past, whether it is MP3 or MP4. This was evident on the Earthdance 2007 promo disc as well. Sound off in the comments if you know anything about this.
From now on, I will encode all mixes using LAME.
You can grab it from the Media section.
Enjoy!
